Cambria created the Federal Executive Leadership Inventory (FELI) in collaboration with the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. It measures skills and behaviors that are aligned with the executive core qualifications (ECQs) the U.S. Office of Personnel Management identified as critical for the highest level of service for career executives. The FELI gathers data from managers, peers, and direct reports and reports it confidentially to the participant. The goal is to encourage people to develop a focused individual development plan based on the feedback.
The Smith School made this instrument available as an alternative to the Office of Personnel Management’s 360-degree assessment. It is designed for participants at all government service (GS) levels in agencies where the Smith School is engaged to deliver a leadership development program.
