Ellen Kumata Keynote: Look to Coaching to Develop Leaders

(Boston) –The important role that coaching has in developing leaders is the focus of a keynote address by Cambria managing partner, Ellen Kumata, at the annual gathering of Rotary International members from the organization’s chapters in the Northeast, Canada, and the Russian Federation.

Kumata gave the keynote at the Rotary International Institute on September 25 in Providence, Rhode Island. Her speech explored the strategic role that coaching now plays in leadership development for organizations across the business and non-profit sectors.

“My central message is that coaching is a tool that accelerates the pace and nature of how we develop leaders,” said Kumata. “And that’s relevant for organizations of all sizes – including corporations developing next generation leaders and organizations like Rotary International,” she added.
