Cambria was founded in 1985 by a small group of senior consultants with advanced degrees in economics, business administration, and behavioral science. The beginnings of our consulting practice were inspired by the work of Harvard professor David C. McClelland, originator of job competency assessment technology, and have evolved to include a deep focus on supporting the development and business impact of senior leaders across a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
In January of 2020, the leading global executive search and leadership advisory firm Spencer Stuart acquired Cambria Consulting. This integration of talent, experience, and expertise has subsequently allowed Cambria and Spencer Stuart to drive even greater impacts with more senior leaders across a greater span of organizations.
